LEARNING ENVIRIONMENT

EARLY YEARS: The early years is considered as the most delicate, delicate and critical moment of any individuals educationist and formational stage in life.

In Den Bec committed and experienced hands that have the fear of God in developing and nurturing the young minds are employed. These competent staffs try their best to inculcate and infuse in them core early skills which helps gives them a right academic start. The early years are made up of kids within the ages of 1- 3 years respectively, with the class range of creche and toddlers.

NURSERY: The nursery class covers a 3 year period with nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Nursery 3. Each class having qualified and dedicated staffs which helps train the child to the advancement of the primary level, making sure they develop a solid foundation.

PRIMARY: Considered as a breeding ground for the future generation, Den-Bec as a Christian school prepare our pupils for Christ like life, by insulting good academic and social morals through discipline making them gifts to their society. This section is set to extensively instil self confidence, and speech development. The primary section covers a year range of five academic years.

• Primary one 5 to 6 years
• Primary two 6 to 7 years
• Primary three 7 to 8 years
• Primary Four 8 to 9 years
• Primary Five 9 to 10 years

JUNIOR SECONDARY: At this level students are prepared for the challenges inherent in the senior school with clear vision into core non-vocational and pre vocational subject. In addition they are taught self development skills which give them educational fortification preparing them for advancement into the senior secondary level.

STUDENT LIFE

School resumes on a daily basis from Monday to Friday at 7:30 am for the secondary section and 7:40 am for the secondary section. The day starts with conduction of morning devotion and mental exercises in preparation of the day’s activities. Classes run for a about three to four hours in the morning with few minutes break for lunch and refreshment after which the afternoon session continues and ends at 2:00pm for the nursery/primary section and 3:00pm for the secondary section. The timings vary during the period of tests and exams, since school closes earlier to enable the kids prepare well for their tests and exams.
